POLICY AGREEMENT / MoNmouth Music academy
Registration
Monmouth Music Academy offers open enrollment so you may register for classes at any time. If a student begins lessons in the middle of the month we will prorate tuition before the beginning of the first full month. There is a registration fee of $40 per student.
Tuition
Tuition is paid monthly: based on enrollment, not attendance. Your monthly tuition rate is the same each month even though some months will have 5 lessons and others will have 3. Holiday closures have been calculated into the monthly tuition rate. Our closure calendar is available online at www.monmouthmusicacademy.com/calendar
All fees must be paid by pre-authorized debit or pre-authorized credit cards at time of registration. Auto-debit from bank account and credit card payments are available only for regular auto-charge recurring monthly tuition. Credit or debit cards will be charged one week prior to the upcoming month.
$145 per month / 30 minute weekly
$255 per month / 60 minute weekly or Two 30 minute weekly
Withdrawal or Schedule Changes
We require one week’s notice, prior to the first of the upcoming month to discontinue lessons, request a new weekly time or suspend automatic charges. To discontinue lessons please contact the academy by e-mail or at the front desk.
Student Absence and Make-Up Lessons
Students at the academy are allowed to reschedule up to two lessons per school year based on the academy's availability: Two available between January and June, and another two between July and December. A minimum of 24 hours notice is necessary to request a lesson rescheduling.
For lessons canceled the day of, a personalized instructional video will be made for the student to stay on track for their next class. With sufficient notice, a virtual lesson can be arranged at your weekly time if you are unable to attend in person.

No shows will be marked as missed. Missed lessons cannot be rescheduled, which means payment for missed lessons are not reusable, refundable or transferable.
Tardy Arrival
Students arriving late will not have their lesson time extended. Students arriving late by more than half of their lesson period will be considered absent.
Open Door Policy
Our Open Door Policy means that one parent/guardian is welcome to sit in a music lesson their son/daughter. Some students work better with a parent or guardian in the room. Siblings/guests are not permitted to sit in on classes.
Student Illness
Virtual lessons or instructional videos are available at your weekly time if you are unable to attend lessons due to illness. No students should attend lessons when sick. Monmouth Music Academy reserves the right to dismiss a student from a scheduled lesson if the student arrives at that lesson exhibiting possible symptoms of illness. In this case, a makeup lesson will not be offered
Instrutor Absences
In the event of an instructor absence, the academy reserves the right to provide a qualified substitute or schedule a timely make-up session for lessons missed. Monmouth Music Academy reserves the right to replace the current instructor with a new qualified instructor.
Dismissal
Monmouth Music Academy reserves the right to dismiss any student due to frequent absences, disciplinary problems, overdue tuition payments and/or parental noncompliance with our policies.
Inclement weather
In the event of inclement weather conditions or those which are forecasted, in person classes will be canceled for the day. A virtual class will be arranged at your designated lesson time.
Policy changes
Monmouth Music Academy reserves the right to change policies, fees, or waivers at any time.
